This is a direct hire position located at the Port Hueneme & Point Mugu Naval Base.
There is no relocation assistance or per diem.
Construction Quality Control Manager ( QCM ) Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen Minimum of 5 years related construction experience Minimum of 2 years of QCM experience Must have General Construction Experience Proficient use of Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook This position requires the physical ability to maneuver on construction sites without limitations A valid driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background Must be able to pass a drug screening Construction Quality Control Manager ( QCM ) Responsibilities /
Experience:
Ensure that QC activities are performed at the job-site Perform periodic inspections and evaluations to facilitate safe work practices and quality performance Review adequacy/effectiveness of CQC Plan; implement/manage CQC Plan administrative functions Ensure subs know and conform to QC requirements; work with subs to resolve QC problems Conduct/facilitate/record Three Phase Meetings; perform/manage the three phases of QC Schedule, manage, supervise and monitor all field testing; keep a Log of Testing and Test Results Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on construction project site.
May be required to supervise craft employee/subcontractors as required by the contract Conduct all initial, follow-up and completion inspections and prepare/process inspection reports Review Job Site Safety Plan and verify that three phases of QC are adhered to Gather and submit monthly paperwork to NAVFAC Reject materials/equipment not in compliance; supervise/direct replacement; maintain Non-conforming/Non-compliance Log Monitor and control all safety related onsite operations Job Type:
