Role and
Responsibilities:
Full Time Technical Applications Specialist position supporting the N Departmentproviding FMS logistics administrative services.
Position
Qualifications:
o Must have a High School degree and 1 - 3 years of logistics experience.
o Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians and Logisticians.
o Able to support development, review, edits, and updates to FMS documentation.
o Able to provide FMS modernization support including personnel tracking, system status, maintainlessons learned databases.
o Draft and rout Liaison Information Transfer Reports (LITRs), Technical Bulletins, Ordnance Alterations(ORDALTS), and maintaining a LITR database.
LITRs are a way that the US and the FMS country sendofficial communication.
o Able to update and maintain installation schedules in support of the project lead.
o Assist with site turnover during/after acceptance.
o Able to utilize numerous Navy applications such as Advance Configuration and Engineering StatusSystem (ACCESS) and UNET to research status and schedules.
o Able to track material inventory, installation schedules, and POA&Ms for various FMS countries.
o Able to support the various FMS countries with research, status and installation requirements.
o Must have strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data entry).
o Have a valid driver's license with own transportation.
o Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
o Must be punctual, attention to detail, meet quick deadlines.
o Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.
o Able to follow company policies and procedures.
o Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills:
o Navy Logistics Schoolo Previous NAVSEA Logistics and/or Navy Admin experience.
Physical Requirements:
o Must be able to travel if/when required.
