Role and
Responsibilities:
Full Time position performing Network and TELECOM installation and maintenanceat Port Hueneme, CA.
May be tasked for support in several system support fields including integration,installation, cable pulling and termination, electrical, and other technical tasks as may be required.
A Secretclearance is required.
Position
Qualifications:
o Must have HS diploma and 2 years' related technical experience in TELCOM and Network installationand maintenance.
o Must be able to perform installation and integration and support repairs at land-based facilities.
Workcould require support for mechanical, electrical, network, cabling, other technical systems.
o Must be able to work under general supervision completing various repair and installation/integrationprojects.
o Should have knowledge of and experience with general requirements for commercial systemmaintenance.
o Must be able to support occasional travel to field activities.
o Must be proficient with common hand and power tools performing field activity support tasks as defined.
o Should have basic computer Microsoft Office skills (i.
e.
, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry).
o Have a valid driver's license with own transportation.
o Must have no criminal record and able to satisfactorily complete background check.
o Must be able to work under direct supervision, perform and complete tasks with direct guidance.
o Able to follow company policies and procedures.
o Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with US Navy network and TELCOM systems.
Physical Requirements:
o Must be able to climb up and down the vertical ladders.
o Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
